Great price with comprehensive facilities in the heart of the town, and the location right in front of Hsinchu train station makes it even more worthwhile. With many convenience stores and the shopping district nearby, you don't need to worry if you forget clothes or get hungry in the middle of the night. There are also plenty of Southeast Asian restaurants nearby.

Clearly a love motel, but also an ok option for budget travellers. The size of the room was decent, and the bed was big, but the bathroom was not great. There was also this 'people used to smoke here but we covered it up by spraying all kinds of scents for years' smell. The staff was very friendly though!
